HONEY
WINE, NECTAR OF THE GODS
Honey wine is the
fermentation of honey diluted in water, into which minerals and wine
yeasts are added. The fermentation lasts approximately one month, and it
is aged in oak barrels from three months to one year to refine the taste.
The Bee Museum produces seven types of mead, from dry to sweet. We also
produce a fruit mead, the Dégel d'Amour, made with
cloudberries.
